Fijne verhuurder, makkelijk om mee te comuniceren

We had a very unpleasant experience. Communication with the owner was quite complicated, partly due to language barrier but mainly because of a lack of efforts from his part (he debated the fuel level from his upstairs window and asked me to send a photo instead of coming down to check it himself). The car is NOT in good condition, it feels very used and not well taken care of. Main issue was squeaking/grinding noises, particularly when braking which seems to indicate the brake pads are fully worn down. When cruising at 100km/h on the highway on 5th gear, the car suddenly stuttered several times as if it was gonna stop. Headlights are very weak, I couldn't see the road when driving at night in the rain. Add to this orange warning lights on the dashboard, handbrake fully worn down, bent key getting stuck in the keylock, dirty car, etc. Only positive aspect is the cheap price, which could compensate for some of these things but not when it comes to safety.

Het is voor ons de eerste keer. Auto is tegen gevallen en de service hadden wij ook anders verwacht. Fred was ziek dus ja, en deed zijn best maar dat wij het anders beleven is onze ervaring. Hopelijk is het een gevalletje van “toevallig””
