About the car
My Kia E-Niro from 2021 is a 100% electric SUV with a range of about 440km. (In the winter more like 400). Comfortably sits 4 and includes a child seat, and there's plenty of room for luggage. In NL, Germany, Belgium and increasingly in France and beyond the availability of fast electric chargers (Fastned, Allego, IONITY) makes it easy to travel without too much ‘range anxiety'. Of course you need to plan the longer journeys and expect an average wait of 20-30 min. for every (fast) charge. There are several apps to help with planning - Chargemap, ABRP. For charging I can give you my charge cards (Kia charge, Chargemap and Shell) and you can pay me after. Many chargers also allow you to use an app. The car will be fully charged when you hire it. Upon return I will charge it back up to full and send you a Tikkie. Prices for slow (AC) charging are 0,3 euros per kWH. 100km uses about 18kWH, so costs about 5,4 euros. Fast (DC) charging costs around 0,8. Updated 01.2023.
