What is SnappCar?
SnappCar is a car sharing platform. More than 6000 car owners offer their own car on our platform to share it with you. That way you can rent the car from your neighbours, often within walking distance.
How do you rent a car?
Renting a car is easy. Register on our platform, go through the verification and send a rental request for a car of your choice. The owner then only has to accept your rental request. On the day of booking you pick up the car at the agreed time. Read more about how SnappCar works here.
Am I all-risk insured?
Yes, for every booking you are all-risk insured with our partner Allianz.
What is the difference between SnappCar and other rental companies?
Via SnappCar you rent the car from your neighbours that would otherwise be stationary. You don't have to go to a rental company, but you can easily rent a car near you.
How old do I have to be to rent from SnappCar?
The minimum age is 21 years. For vans, it's 23 years old.
How much does it cost to rent a car from SnappCar?
Renting a car is already possible from € 20 per day and € 10 per half day. On top of this, charges for insurance, roadside assistance and service costs need to be paid. Amounts differs per car.
Do you offer roadside assistance?
Yes, we offer 24/7 roadside assistance in collaboration with ANWB. If necessary, we provide support or replacement transport throughout Europe.
