About the car

Renting my Tesla Model 3 Long Range is a good choice if you are interested in driving electric or considering buying a Tesla Model 3. Driving in the Netherlands you will have around 500km range, on motorways in the EU you will have around 400km range (less in Germany if you go faster than the recommended speed). You can charge for free at one of the many Tesla Superchargers, at any regular street charging point (the necessary Type 2 cable is in the trunk), or even at a regular outlet (slow but cheap)! You can charge for free at most Tesla Destination chargers at restaurants and hotels. The car knows all charger locations and can tell you where your next charge point is. If this your first time driving a Tesla, I will explain everything you need to know before you drive off. Charging costs are included in the rental price as far as you charge at a Tesla Supercharger in the Netherlands. The car drives like an 'automatic', it helps if you have experience with that. You will have access to the car during the rental through the Tesla App. That way you can have the full Tesla experience! The car has Extended Autopilot, which makes it very relaxed to use on motorways. It keeps the lane, brakes if necessary for cars in front of you, and can change lanes semi-automatically - you only need to indicate. The car does not have Full Self Driving (FSD), therefore it cannot drive itself outside of motorways (e.g. in cities).

All seats and the steering wheel are heated. Do not worry about where and when to charge: just indicate your destination and the car will route via any necessary fast chargers. The car has a Spotify and a TuneIn subscription allowing you to listen to any music, radio, or podcast. You can also watch Netflix or YouTube, and play one of the many games. For romance, there's the fireplace!
